This has been a 'thing' with Gmail and not any of the other email providers.

 

It's not that simple.
A few years ago I received an invite from Twoo. Some @$$hole signed up my friend without her knowledge. What Twoo does is send an invite to all your contacts if you have a Gmail address. Was Google in on this? We'll never know.

I don't know what, if anything, Google offers small businesses when they use Gmail.
What I do know is the love of money has no boundaries.
On the internet, you have no privacy. And everyone wants a slice of the money pie...

To each his own i personalty removed all google entities from my PC other than one stubborn chrome folder that has no permissions
i use brave a a browser no chrome or fire fox <chrome jr.> and so on excite.com for emails (yes i still use it)
is an actual fact that in an environment like ours advertisement serves as an income back door (free money to google)
as you will have it
so no not a conspiracy but yes if you have worries i agree with wile e coyote be vigilant
clean you cookies history or even use tor <-- all stock in brave browser
i would say get cclean from here but is pushes chrome and wont clean chrome stuff (!Sorry Drill Sargent!)XD
use a different email when dealing with contracts pest repairs so on

Around the end of summer I was working in an office building changing out air equipment, The spaces were really tight. We needed a small ~14 ft lift. I searched online at rental companies and on Amazinon. Found several. company wouldn't respond quick so I wound up using an electric wench. Here's a pic


Well, a week later I was reading an article on copper line lenght limitations and guess what popped up in an ad on the side. My partner couldn't believe. No one we know who even works in this field had ever seen this on the internet at all. Had to be my search set it off. Sales people are really digging in to make a dollar!
