I need some professional help, this is driving me crazy. My computer always reboots at random times it also reboots when I try to shutdown windows. This has been happening for sometime and I have done all I can to resolve it but have hit a brick wall. My troubleshooting steps are as follows..

    1) Replaced my HDD with a replacement from Western Digital and clean installed Windows.
    2) Installed a new Antec 400w psu
    3) Swapped out my video card with another working card I had
    4) Swapped out my memory with brand new memory
    5) Bought a new surge protector (I also tried powering the computer from a different wall socket in the house in case it was a power issue.)

I have really run out of options and today I reformatted my HDD to run a clean install of windows I am now receiving the BSOD while the windows installation is running. The first error was PFN_LIST_CORRUPT and the second was IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. From my research on Google these are fatal errors dealing with drivers accessing memory. Should I start suspecting my motherboard as the culprit? I have never had an ASUS board go bad on me..

*BUMP* Does anyone have any insight on this, I know its not your average run of the mill problem.

Based on everything you have done so far; yes, I would say that the motherboard is most likely the cause of your problems.

I agree. Though, check to see if there is a BIOS update for you particular board. If not, try taking the battery out for 30 mins, then reinstalling the battery in your motherboard.

Otherthan that, it looks like your motherboard is shot....

One note, you are not overclocking anything are you?

Could be the mobo, could be running too hot, some do the random shutdown when they overheat.
