Content.IE5

Please, please help. Any type of security scan i try to do like NAV 2005 or any of the ones on the internet all stop midway through at the same place (C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Setting\Temp\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\3WJGBED\CAY404EU.bin

I did a search and found this file but it wont let me near it. I get an error warning and everything i am workin on closes. Is it a virus or trojan?? I recently uninstalled an Adobe trial version i had that had expired and it seems like it has started since then.

if u found an infected file startup in safe mode and delete it from there

 

DSorcerer, Thanks for responding, I tried running the scans and also deleting that file in safe mode but the same thing happens.

 

It's in your Temporary Internet Folder, so there is a chance it might be some form of spyware or virus.

To be safe, pay a visit to the SPYWARE FORUM and follow their recommendations in the stickies to rule out infection.
