continously loosing in game connection

Ive finally got my own internet connection from the only provider were allowed in Hull - UK and they provide a free router, a thompson router. But ive noticed since it was set up that i am continously loosing connection when im playing online on xbox... at first i thought it was because of the wireless connectivity then i wired it up and the problem still is there... it is the same on pc too... it happens randomly, more so on the xbox then on the pc... but i just keep gettin kicked off a game... could this be to do with the router been a cheap free one? My dad has a connecition with the same provider but he uses a different router and he and myself (when i was living with him) have never had a problem before...

 

That's seems the router or the service himself.

Look, you have two adapters, the XBOX as one and the PC as the each other.

I don't think PC and XBOX are broken or have a incorrect configuration.

The other option is the cable to the modem i mean the one that have the internet signal.

Try to check if it is working propierly, and if it is, i guess you have to talk with your ISP.
