Control Windows 10 Updates Like Windows 7

I came across this, but I haven't tested it yet. I am in the process of upgrading 4 Windows 7 PCs, and I wondered if anyone has seen it before:

Seems to be some question as to whether the registry change will work for the Home Edition of Windows 10, but the dialog looks the same as Windows 7. Seems to be no problem using this for the Pro Edition.

I am going to call Microsoft about the 3 remaining keys I have here for W7 Pro, so that I can clear them for the upgrade just to make sure they are all eligible. Not sure yet whether I will upgrade 1, 2, or all 3 of these PCs. The 4th PC has Windows 10 already, and I don't want to mess with it, because I don't use the PC, and auto updates are fine for the purpose of that PC.

If anyone would like to try or has tried it, please pass on any information you have about how well it works...

    Thanks

HERE's the How-to Geek on the same topic. Bit easier to follow than Youtube. I use Defender and want that updated daily so I don't think I'll be trying this method.
