Convert 24 hour clock to AM PM

Hi all! Hoping someone can help. Running vista 32 bit on a dell xpsm1210 laptop. My clock on bottom right works like a military clock. Is there any way I can change it to show as an AM PM clock. You know, the hour after 12:00 becomes 1:00 instead of 13:00. Is there an option available? Thanks.

In Windows, click the Start button.
Click Control Panel, click Clock, Language, and Region.
*Note: If you are using Control Panel in Classic View, double-click Regional and Language Options, and then skip to step 3.

Click Regional and Lanugage Options.
Click Customize this format.
On the Time tab, do one of the following:
Change Time format to HH:mm:ss for a 24-hour clock.
Change Time format to hh:mm:ss tt for a 12-hour clock.

Thanks. I followed your instructions, but it still won't change.
Any other suggestions?

HI

Make sure you logon as admin if using a limited account, then in same location that Dr M posted change the settings to resemble this

and click Apply.

If you have any security software running, like Spybot S&D then disable them before making the change.

Also at any point have you installed combofix? if so uninstall it as it changes your clock to 24hr format.
