convert activision print kit from 95/98 to XP

I got a really cool SPIDER-MAN print kit from Activision but it's for Win 95/98. I assumed (yeah, made an @$$ outta u and me) that it would work on my XP system.

Wrong.

Okay, I am totally stupid about this stuff. Is there a way to convert it so it will work for me? Funny thing is, when I put it in, the error message says I'm running NT. (not)

Windows XP is based on the NT file system and that's why you get the error stating you're running NT. If you can get the software to install, run it in compatibility mode. Right click on the shortcut, select Properties and click the Compatibility tab. Then pick Windows 95 from the drop down menu. That should work. If it doesn't, try checking the Activision web site for an update or patch that allows you to run it on XP.

Thank you for prompt reply. It will not, unfortunately, install; the hang-up comes almost as soon as I slip the disc in. And I cannot seem to access the activision site; it too hangs when I try to get to it. I may just have to wait til I get our old Win98 desktop fixed and then try to get it working with an old printer. I do run some older games on compatibility mode, but it was good to be reminded of it just in case.
