Convert MP4 to AVI/DivX

Can someone recommend a good (free) MP4 to AVI/DivX/XViD converter? I know that SUPER can probably do it (I'm not a big fan of SUPER), and MediaCoder can do it (I haven't tried it). I Googled it and discovered a free app called "Pazera MP4 to AVI" but overall, it has fairly poor reviews; the output videos are grainy and it takes a VERY long time to convert, like longer than it should take. I have been using Dr. DivX for converting iPod video clips to DivX formats, and it works fine. I guess I'm just looking for an alternative. Why? I have no life, that's why.

UPDATE- I found a freeware application called MP4Cam2AVI and it's open source via Sourceforge. It looks like it was originally created to deal with MP4 files from digital video cameras, but it should work with any MP4 video file... shouldn't it? If anyone out there has some knowledge of this application, please post!
