Convert PNG

    Does anyone know of a freeware program that can convert a PNG formatted picture into JPEG? Is it easy to use since I have never done that before and do not want to destroy the photo?

    You can also just use regular old MS Paint. Open the photo in Paint then use Save As and choose to save the photo as a jpeg in the drop down box for Filetype. Choose a different name for added safety to ensure no way to accidentally overwrite the original.

    But keep in mind that with JPEG compression the image quality may become lower. If you use no JPEG compression, then the resulting image will be larger than the PNG.

    best app i've found so far for conversion, you can keep ar or user define size as well. you can define between a few file types and a few filters as well as optimizing.
