Paint will do that just fine.

If you don't want to use it, then I would suggest IRFANVIEW.

    Hey,

Actually i want to upload the saved snapshot as a picture (jpg) to my site.

As you know MS Paint actual format (BMP) is not supported for uploading.

When i saved the snapshot in MS Paint,

First i saved it in JPg at desktop.

Then when i went to view it at desktop bydouble clicking it,

it opened in My browser (I.E.) , but did not showed the picture (showed a cross mark instead of the picture)

Then you have file associations wrong.

You need to associate .jpg with whatever graphic program you use. IE tried to open it because it must be associated with that extension.

If you are unsure how to set file associations, then post back.

By the way i saved the snapshot in MS Paint as .jpg, what's wrong with that?

Nothing is wrong, I don't understand what you are saying?

Anyway, JPEG's shouldn't open with IE though, they should open with your graphic program.

To set file association can be done several ways.

Easiest is to right-click the file, then select "Open with" (if that isn't an option then hold down the Shift key as you right-click)

Browse to your default graphic program, and check the box "Always use this program etc".

*To check your file associations, go to Windows Explorer, Tools, Options or Folder Options, then File Types tab and the rest is straight forward.
