Converting files

I recently installed nero express for my new burning software. It will not allow me to burn my video files unless they are in dvd format (.bup, .vob, .ifo). Does anyone know of an easy quick conversion program to do this with? other than nerovision express?

 

What are ye trying to accomplish? Are ye trying to make a video file you downloaded legally off the internet, playable with your dvd player on your home theatre?

 

not that it matters what I am doing, but no that is not it. I have some video clips my friend burnt for me onto a cd, and she has a mac. So therefore she uses quicktime, and I need to find a way to convert those clips into dvd format so I can burn them to a disc. Can anyone help????

thanks for trying hopper, but i need a program that will convert my files from .dv(quicktime) to a dvd file (.bup, .vob, .ifo)

 

Did you check out MPEG StreamClip??? The description specifically says that it converts Quicktime to DVD format..... It's the last link in the above post...

 

I dont know how to use that program. It says it will export .dv files, but says nothing about converting them into dvd files. I am trying it right now, converting them to mpeg 4 and going from there. Maybe it will give me a dvd option from there, but as of now there is nothing on the menu giving me that option.
