Hi! I have a new Win7/64 laptop at a day program and have an issue: it has Adobe Acrobat Reader, but it needs reactivation. I have internet service but not the administrator password. It has MSWord, though, I think v. 2000. Can I convert .pdf to .doc? If so, how?

Thank you. I plan to convert the docs later. :)

This doesn't convert from pdf but it converts lots of formats to different formats and allows bulk converting, which might be useful at times. The file limit is 200MB per file.

You should be downloading your word doc and saving as a PDF (not the other way around)
Use Google Docs in the cloud from your Google account,

No, I shouldn't've. The documents are in .PDF format, and the system has Adobe, but it keeps insisting that I need to reactivate Adobe. Unfortunately, I don't have the Administrator password. :( It has MSWord, though, so I can use that.

Or download any number of free PDF readers? I like Foxit a lot.

Not as straightforward as Foxit but can do a lot more -- such as rearrange pages, encrypt... there's the free PDF24.

I downloaded the file, but I can't install it on the computer in question, as I don't have the administrator password. :(

I just reread your question... if you have no admin privilege, you may not be able to install new apps - like Foxit. If all you want is to read a PDF file for now -- assuming it's NOTHING private -- there are online services that can open your PDF file to read/print.

    Try this: https://tools.pdf24.org/en/view-pdf

Oh, there is also an alternative way to add apps to your computer without need for admin privileges. Download the "portable" version of whatever software. In this case, you can find portable Foxit here. Once downloaded, create a new folder and simply unzip the downloaded file there. No need to install app at all.
