converting pdf to word

Hey. Here is my delima. I have a pdf file that I needs certain parts highlighted and commented. I cannot spend $300 for Adobe Acrobat, so I need to convert the document into a word document of editing. That's easy enough, but getting the formatting to convert is not as easy as just copying and pasting or saving the pdf as a text file with this particular document. I see converters online, but I'd rather not download software I've never seen before from a place I've never been before. Does MajorGeeks offer a converter or know of one that works? Time is of the essence.

UPDATE!
I just downloaded the program from the link I provided above http://www.download3000.com/download_48391.html
I installed it, ran a 24 page PDF file thru it. It converted it flawlessly in about 3 seconds. So easy to use, it's not even funny Browse to the PDF, browse to the output folder, click convert. THAT'S IT!!!!

Thank you for the link! Like I said, I could easily find converters via google, but for all I knew some of them could have been trojans. Unlikely considering the probably low demand for them, but you never know.

It worked fairly well... It took a while, but that was somewhat expected because I was converting a whole book. And then it froze when completed but I think that was my fault for setting the save destination as a file rather than a folder. It also had a few formatting inconsistencies but no major problems.

I need to convert a .pdf file to a .doc file within the hour and cannot wait to send off and receive back. The user said they used this and it worked beautifully - is it still out there? Or can you suggest a program to buy so I don't have to worry about getting a virus?

:confused I'm not sure what your question is.... I just checked the link and it works, and I originally posted it way back in mid-Feb.

Yes, it is still there. The link works fine. When you click the link, another web site will open. Then scroll down a bit and click on the big green 'Download' button. Another window will open and you'll scroll down a bit and you'll see 'Download link 1' and 'Download link 2'. Click on one of the underlined 'Download now' links to start the download. No need to worry about getting a virus. I have downloaded and used the program without issues (I'm the dude that said "it worked beautifully"). I have also scanned it with 3 different AV/AS tools and it's clean. I have also scanned the program folder after it was installed and it was clean too. I know that "download3000" is perhaps not the most reputable site out there, but in this case, it's fine.
