converting vb to exe

hi, i recently made a chat system using visual basic 6.0 and i wanted to send a part of the prog to a friend so we could chat, but when he receives it he cannot execute it. so i thought it was because he was missing the vbrun files, but i am not sure what version or types of vbfiles (vbrun 60 , 300, 500 )to send him. need some help with this

think thats them, im not sure if its full thing or just service pack but yeah you need vb6 run time. If you make an install CD for him everything will be included on that CD that you used for the project.
