    Well it seems that when I restart all my cookies disappear....it's becoming a hassle to re-login to all my forums and such. Any clues to why this is happening? Also it's not when my browser closes, I actually just tested that right now....Well thanks in advance.

    Are you using any third party software like TweakUI? TweakUI has a setting in the paranoia section that will clear the IE history and Temp. Internet Files at log on. Obviously this means that every time you log off, then back on (including a restart) the contents of these sections are deleted. There is also an option in Internet Options to clear the Temporary Internet Files when browser is closed. It's under the advanced section but you said that it wasn't the IE browser.

    I don't have any third party software....well except MYIE2...and well I downloaded a trial of evidence eliminator and i think that had option of deleting cookies on restart but I uninstalled it...well any more help would be appreciated. Thanks again.

    Even if you uninstalled this program, it may (I'm not familiar with this particular program) have set your browser settings to delete cookies. Pull up your internet settings & see if it is set to delete cookies on every exit.

    Yeah I know, I thought of that.....it wasn't checked to delete cookies on exit. :( This is a tough problem.

    I don't know why it would matter because it didn't happen before but it's XP home and browser latest version of IE, 6.0.

    Just a thought have you tried unchecking :

    Tools-menu -> Internet Options... -> Advanced-tab -> Security-node -> "Empty Temporary Internet Folder when closed"

    Umm I mentioned in my first post it wasn't because of that, but yeah I checked a couple times to make sure, hehe.
