I know you should disable this while overclocking, but do you KEEP it disabled or enable once you're done overclocking?

By the way, nice forum you guys got running here. You're overclocking guide is great :)

Disabled if you overclock manually through bios. Perhaps some software tools from mobo makers can work along with C&Q. Not likey you get best oc that way.

Try RMClock instead - also better with no oc http://cpu.rightmark.org/products/rmclock.shtml Dont think you have to load AMD cpu driver and C&Q can be either disabled or enabled in bios, RMClock will take over. Cant remember for sure, check forum http://forum.rightmark.org/?id=6

So if you overclock you have to disable it permanently? Or can you put it back on after your done OCing?

    Yes permanently.

Unless you have exact same hardware dont copy and paste. Cant even be sure it will work with same hardware. You should not fiddle too much until you know each hardware part and especially bios. Screenshot do not show HTT frequency but if you dont lower that to 3 or 4 you might get a non-booting computer. Just basic knowledge of chipset is enough.

Most if not all newer motherboards have these timings and more. Very easy and safe to overclock on NF4 and simular chipset/motherboards so read some A64 oc-guide and do it yourself. Most important part of overclocking is testing - as this guy points out http://www.short-media.com/printcontent.php?print=r&id=300 Unless you go for absolute max or dont know what you are doing it does not have to take long. You can get a good idea of expected mhz/fsb/voltage by researching, more than a screenshot needed though.

Best is to find a forum dealing with your motherboard. Most overclock and so you can look up experiences, which bios to use and how to set it up properly. Note that most active posters on such forums have love for big numbers, often less for stable computers. Take it easy, do it by the book one step at a time. When you realize how easy it is and feel at home with voltage, temps, fsb, htt etc. you can explore limits safely :)

One of the first bios for my NF4 silently overclocked PCI-E video card as well as cpu/ram when you used one of the presets. Not a good thing and they have taken that part out but you got to know. Research hardware first. May be someone here has same stuff and can guide you but it is your computer and no reason to take shortcuts leaving you ??????? should something basic go wrong.
