coolwwwsearch.SmartKiller (v1/v2) Mini Removal

    I downloaded the coolwwwsearch.SmartKiller (v1/v2) Mini Removal and when I tried to run it a sign popped up and said it has not been found on your computer. What am I doing wrong?

    What makes you think you have a CoolWWWSearch infection?

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support
    • Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.
    After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:

    I think I have the coolwwwsearch infection because when I try to run SpyBot it freezes and in the progress line at the bottom it says coolwwwsearch. Do you think something is wrong with my SpyBot? I downloaded one program to remove it and it said that it was removed but when I started my SpyBot again, it was there again.

    Nothing! This means you do not have the infection.

    The line on the bottom of Spybot just indicates what it is currently scanning for. It does not mean you have the infection listed. It does take Spybot along time to get thru certain areas of its scan. Just wait longer (maybe alot longer) and see what happens.
