Copying files to Word or .txt

    Have alot of music and movies downloaded. I'm trying to convert the names only of what I have to Word or Notepad or whatever , so I can print them out. I've seem to have forgotten how to accomplish this.

    Open a cmd.exe prompt.

    Change to the directory the files are.


    type

    dir >list.txt

    It will save the directory contents to a text file.
