Copying Floppy On Win10/64 & Winxp?

Hi! I have a Windows 10/64-bit laptop at home and a WinXP laptop at my mother's house, and I want to make copies of some of my floppies for my mother. If nothing else, I can always make them on my Win98SE system at my mother's house or copy the files through a folder on my desktop. Can I copy floppies on the Win10/XP systems? If so, how?

 

i don't know about win10, but win xp does floppies just fine.
to this very day, i still use a "sneaker network" to transfer files
from my bookkeeping win xp computer to my mac, so i can email reports.
but please don't tell my family, they'll try to do some form of intervention
my xp computer with the accounting software, is not hooked into any network,
including the internet. i find floppies easier to use, than a usb thumb drive,
for transferring 2 or 3 small pdfs. no mounting/unmounting needed on xp
with a floppy, just stick floppy in, copy, press physical eject button, done.
i like it anyway. now get off my lawn you young whippersnappers!!

 

Perhaps HarryPotter has a USB external floppy drive.

 

You might think about making images of your floppy for keeping safe. I'd suggest rawrite (http://www.chrysocome.net/rawwrite), Roadkil's Disk Image, or WinImage. With the images you can always make more floppies.
