    Hi, :wave

I want to buy my mom a subscription to an internet quilting channel that has a lot of on-demand programming available to watch. She wants to know if I could download the programs to a dvd for her to view at a later time in her quilting room (no internet in there and neither of us has a laptop).

I won't have broadband until the first of November (live in the boonies and have had dial-up forever). I don't have a clue about the internet programs. I'm hoping that the genius minds on the forums have advice about what I need, if anything. I use windows XP. I apologize if I seem like an idiot and this is a waste of your time, but I hope you will forgive me. ;)

Your recommendations and advice will be greatly appreciated. BTW, the website from which I'm planning to get the subscription is www.qnntv.com.

    Have a great week,
    Brainless

    I don't think so.
I suspect you have to watch it on the computer - streaming and can probably pause and stop the viewing and then later watch the same thing again.

I have Netflix and can stream movies on demand but I can't download, burn to a dvd and then watch them later.
