I am looking for a program which will enable me to download/copy a live video broadcast from the internet. For example say the New York Times had a video I wish to watch and feel I would like to refer to at a later date I would like to be able to copy it on to a DVD for future reference. Many websites today have these small videos and to be able to refer to them at a later date they are no longer on their sites.
    Any suggestions please.
    Thanks
    Mathilda

    Thanks Pistol.

Any chance of a non firefox app. I can't work some of my programs with Firefox and don't want to "mess up" my computer.

the only programs that i can find that'll work on other browsers are paid ones, however this website http://keepvid.com/ will allow you to C/P the url of a video to download,i don't know if it'll work with live streams or not since I've never used it
