    Simple question really.

Is it legal to copy a movie onto your harddrive? I'm using Media Centre Ed and want to be able to play films from 'My Movies' rather than from the DVD drive. Compaired to the rest of my PC (which you can hardly hear) the DVD drive sounds like a helicopter about to take off...

I'm interested since I'm in the UK and as far as I'm aware it should be legal to take a copy to protect your media (in the same way it is for CD's).

If it is, I assume Nero does it?

If not I'll install the video on demand plug in and pay per view instead.

    Cheers,

    Alex
