Copyq Install Failure

I have downloaded CopyQ from several sites and now this one, but it will not install or launch. Every time I try I get this notification




BUT as can be seen from the Explorer snip
below, the 'missing' files is present:


What is happening? How can I launch this program on my Windows 1o Fall Update PC?

 

copyq.exe should be in the same folder along with these DLLs. Do you still get the same error if you double click copyq.exe in this folder?

 

This copy in the picture below installed perfectly fine.Make sure you uninstall the older version first + remove the registry if there are any.

No virus or malware detected during scan.

 

Thanks for your prompt supply. Clicking the exe file has no effect. The first time I tried there was no previous copy installed. Later attempts removed the earlier files before downloading.

In the copy you downloaded successfully is there a Help / Support link with contact info? I have not found any way to contact the developers.

I have checked that neither Malwarebytes nor Norton are blocking or quarantining.

 

Make a complaint on there main site linked above.You have to Sign up.Click on there issues tab.
