Corel 4...is it on my hard drive for eternity??

Hi Guys
Is there a kind soul out there that can help me with a dilemma.
For some unknown stupid reason i installed Corel 4 on my computer.
I dont know why i did it...... a moment of insanity maybe.
It has taken over all my photo programmes. It has no uninstall options and when i try to manually delete it, none of my stored photos will open as it cant find corel to open them in.
AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH
(thats me screaming!!!)
Help help help, does anyone know how to get rid of this evil program.....its almost as bad as AOL for taking over the planet.
I hope someone can help me get rid of it.

After you have completed an uninstall you are left with files that don't have an application associated with them, these need to re-associated to the original application.

You may also find that the uninstaller may not clean all the items out of the registry. One of the following registry cleaners may you there: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?id=15

A very quick fix for getting back associations when some shoddy programming doesnt compleatly uninstall all the programs associations IS to just re-install you favorite graphic/photo program again and that generally re-associates the file types.

the long winded way is to right click and select "open with" > "choose program" pic your photo/graphic app of choice and choose "always use the selected program to open this kind of file" > apply

but you will need to do this with all graphic and photo file types.... so can be a pain in the ass!
