Corel word perfect trial and trial software

Hi I have am having problems with Corel Word Perfect trial that came installed on my compaq presario s4210nx. The problems started when I updated Trend Micro'S PC-cillin Internet Security 2007 within a day or two it started detecting trojans and listing the corel WP files as infected/which is not the case. These are false positive detections according to ChaseLang in your Malware section(where I have a post titled HP\Compaq Malware??) I had other false positives with oh say Wild Tangent which is now gone.
I think this program is a trial and can only be unlocked by the publisher and I keep getting bad links to the website. So I am thinking that this is outdated software and that I should just uninstall it. But I can only install it-then uninstall it as there are no entries in add remove programs section and install takes an eternity. Add to that part of program is gone due to Trend Micro's Virus scanner deletions. What do I do with this program and any like it??
Note can provide presario computer spacs on demand (Win XP SP1 updated to SP2)
Also internet Explorer likes to lock up( stops responding and displays hourglass until I dump it.) Still updating with windows update and will chkdsk and defragment the disk(Need this baaaadddd).

Is Corel word perfect listed in your programs list? ie START>>all programs>>Corel, if so there may be an uninstall option there.

Also as far as Wild Tangent being a false positive that is a matter of opinion

 

I believe its install Word Perfect trial and there is no option to uninstall there as I would have used it by now and I would remember something like that..Its always install for next 1-2 hours and then uninstall or you have ideas to delete folders and registry maybe????? Well when wild tangent started when it wanted an downloaded when it wanted I began to realize that I was no longer in control of the program.
