Is my understanding of this correct? I have a Pentium dual core E5700 3.0ghz, 800 fsb cpu. It is quad pumped so the base clock on the mobo needs to be set at 200 mhz.? Also, the mobo accepts DDR3 so is this formula correct for selecting the correct ram? Any input would be appreciated. No OC involved.

    200 mhz (base clock) x 2 (ddr) x 4 (ddr3) = DDR3-1600 PC3-12800

If it took DDR2 it would be

    200mhz x 2 (DDR) x 2 (DDR2) = DDR2-800 PC2-6400

    and if DDR

    200mzh x 2(DDR) = DDR400 PC 3200 ?
