    Thanks Everyone,
    This site is Very Helpful!!
Today, After Months of beeping and probing, i finally called Asus, about the Low threshold on the power supply, and they informed me that it was in fact the cable not being connected to the motherboard, which was why it was reading 0.
So i left the house, feeling confident that my ignoring the warning for months on end was the wise and right decision, when in fact i was just damned stupid and lucky....
well, stupid and lucky it was....when i came home, the only thing running on the computer was a little green lite.
im sure its the power supply.
im hoping my luck outwits my stupidity...
anyway, the new question i have is.
theres dust everywhere.i wonder what burned up my power supply!??!?!?
that ait spray can is good for surface dust....but what about the cpu and the fan attached to it.its covered in dust, and the spray can does nothing to remove the dreaded dustmites!!! what is the correct and safe way to remove it for a first time newbee like myself????
Thanks for the info...im learning alot here!!!!

If you know how to seat computer hardwares, turn power off , pull the plug and battery out. You take them out of case and using fearther duster for cleaning them. Then you take them in seat...
If you you have mini vacuum cleaner for PC, using it with feather duster and you do not need to take computer spare parts out....

I'd be very careful using any kind of vacume as they create Static Electricity.

Just use compressed air & Isopropyl alcohol ( at least 97% Iso) can use something like Qtips with the Iso to clean any part of the PC.
If everything is nasty remove all components clean & reinstall.

Last thought, you may have fried some parts, Dust creates heat, heat kills and can also cause short's, clean & see, maybe your Lucky.

feather duster seems as though it would be prone to static too. I'd be careful there.

Yes, vacuume is generally a bad idea. However, I will often use the hose to suck the dust out of the air as I blow it out with compressed air to prevent it from falling back in. Just keep it well away from the components! ;)

You should be able to blow out the PSU with the canned air pretty good. It's safe. Just don't open it up. Lots of dangerous voltage can be sustained for a significant amount of time in there even after it's been unplugged.

question: Is this laptop out of warranty? If not, let ASUS do it!

Vacume cleaner for PC it is a verry small one, I think it do not hurt your computer spare parts. Its capacity is 25-35w only.
