Corrupt Windows

Can someone help -I have laptop that windows update was not working. Scanned and have been advised that Windows 7 is corrupt. Attempted to fix by using fix it and tweak.com but to no avail still not working. Looking for some help please

What did you scan with? Was it SFC /SCANNOW?

With Tweaking.Com Windows Repair did you only run the repair for Windows Updates?

I scanned SFC /SCANNOW and full scan for Tweaking.com and reports that parts of windows missing. Laptop had Windows already loaded on it - I did not have disc .

Hi

What errors are you getting are they BSODs and if so what message and if you can boot into Windows what errors are you getting, this info may give a different route to fixing but in the end its likely a clean install of Windows is the best and quicker route, I know you do not have disc but as it seems you have just acquired this Laptop the fix we may not be able to deliver so backup is around $50 for Win7 disc and licence key if you have no internal restore route.

As for restore route what is the Laptop make and model number?
