Corrupted File?

    I have a corrupted file that I can't delete from the add/remove programs list. What can I do besides a destructive restore?

    What is the file program?!?

    One of my favorite apps is called Your Uninstaller! 2006 (YU), free 21 day trial, will list and remove programs (as per normal processes) but also registry entries and "orphan" files associated with the program. Try this.

    But often it is best to reinstall the nuisance program and then uninstall.

    Try YU first then if doesn't work reinstall and then uninstall again w YU.
