    Hi,

The other day I put a bunch of files (about 15gb) in a folder on my brothers external hard drive (250gb; Western Digital). It's only a couple months old and he takes extremely good care of it.

As soon as he plugged it into his computer the folder became corrupt and unopenable, I was an idiot and cut the contents onto his hard drive (instead of copy/paste) and we lost all the data.

All the other data that he has on his hard drive is fine, except the corrupted folder and everything inside of it.

Which brings me to my question:
    - Is there anything I can do to recover the data within the corrupted folder? Or perhaps "uncorrupt" it?
    - If not, how would I go about deleting the folder? Simply pressing "delete" doesn't work.

Any help would be appreciated... thanks.

Edit: If it's any help we both use Windows Vista.
