corrupted/missing drivers for DVDRW

Hi & thanks for looking,
Over the last few days I had extensive virus and malware removed from my machine with the help of Halo & Chaslang for Major Geeks. Unfortunately as a result my cd/dvd/burner now no longer works for either files or music.

It worked the day before the infection. I checked in the device manger section and the device has a yellow warnig marking on it and it says.

"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing (code 39)".
.
The cd rom is listed as "LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-1673S"
.
I have tried the uninstal and reboot method with no result.
.
I have a disc supplied when I had the machine built but as the cd rom doesnt work this is of no use.
.
Any ideas or a place where I can download the drivers and assistance installing would be great.
