corupted.exe.

I went away for 2 weeks and now my puter is all messed up! When I try to down load anything it gets almost done and wont finish because it says corupted files. And when I shut down the puter I get this
corupted.exe. Application error referenced memory ox7c80979d and oxoo42c224 could not be written. today, I got the same message with these numbers... ox77e7a67a and oxoo42c224.. Does anyone know whats going on? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! thank you !

 

Dont worry about those weird numbers a letters, its just hex addresses for the places in memory that are causing the errors. They probably will not be the same most of the time.

Check your Task manager for corrupted.exe, and try to shut it down.
What Operating system do you have?
Have you ran any Virus Scanners?
Here is a free online virus scan, it works pritty well. Even if you've scanned with other things, it wouldn't hurt to scan again with a different virus program.
