could someone give me their impression on this DVD Burner?

I have been trying to find reviews online for this particular burner, but coming up with blanks. I have found customer reviews, and while they are mixed, for the most part people enjoy the product.

My concern is that some of those giving it bad reviews say that it will not run on Vista even though it is Vista compatible and lists as a requirement for an OS Vista ( as well as XP etc...).

What do you think?

I would only get LiteOn. It's the only optical drives I've really dealt with.

 

No one sells Lite On products in this area and I have disks I need to burn before Christmas so buying online is out.

If this isn't a good product, I would need to find something comparable that I can purchase in a local store.

 

seems like your standard cd-r drive. if it says it works on vista and it doesnt work when you install it, thats something youd need to take up with the retailer.

 

You might be better off spending the extra money for overnight shipping. Alternately, you can order at 3btech.net and arrange for in store pick up.

Anyway, even Vista should be able to run it as a default generic drive.
