We have a NAS on our network configured on the range of 172.20.0.x network with RADIUS enable.
I could ping the NAS but couldn’t MAP it on my PC(HP running windows 7), when I tried am getting the error “Windows cannot access \\172.20.0.20
    Error code: 0X80070035
The network path was not found
If I do tracert from my pc it is a 2 hopes to the NAS.

I’ve disabled both windows and Kaspersky Firewalls settings in vein.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

You don't say when this started but can we take it it was OK before? You have tried rebooting router, PC and NAS? As a matter of interest what is the router's IP and subnet?

    Need more info.

Is the NAS running on port 80? If not, you need to specify it when accessing shares. Ping does not indicate what port the shares use.

Do you have a share name? It seems unlikely that it will let you map a drive or share to the root.

This started quite a while ago say 2month back, my colleagues could access the NAS without problem.

    the NAS has RADIUS enable.
it was accessible any where so long you've VPN connectivity. i have access to all the rest of the services, i can could access the NAS via a web browser but couldn't map the NAS and its associate folders to my PC, the rest of my colleagues have no issues.

Router, PC and NAS should all be rebooted before trying anything else

Oh, that is normal then. VPN restricts network access locally and over the Internet unless configured to behave differently.

Check your VPN client and make sure its set to allow LAN when connected.
