Counter strike geeks

Ok, i have this problem in counter strike.
If i kill a character, it keeps floting in the air, its irritating because i can't see what's behind the character, they are like dead but floting, like ghosts, sometime's they make a swimming animation. verry weird. but ok. i just wanted to know if some of you know what to do to just remove that stupid animation in the air but let them on the ground. Is it maby some junk stuff in my steam folder or something?

 

this is not your fault, it's almost always b/c of steam or the other persons connection. But jsut to humour me, what are the specs on your processor and video card and the speed of your connection.

 

Well, I have a P4 2600mhz. Geforce 4 FX4200 128mb. 120gb Harddrive. 512mb Ram. Windows Xp Pro and all updates. I have 80gb's free now, so i think its something in cs, shal i try to reinstall steam or do you have another option?? Oh yeah, i have 4mb down- and 768kb up stream!!

 

hi... i've been playing CS for 3 1/2 years... i noticed this problem about 2 weeks ago and it was directly related to me installing new skins (same thing happened to my roommate)... after i would kill the enemy, they would remain suspended in the air and their feet would keep moving like they were dancing...

try uninstalling any new skins or even deleting your models folder and redownloading those skins upon your next connection to a server.

 

MA have you installed new skins at all?

i do use an Nvidia Geforce 4 Ti4400, but as i said, i've never heard of this problem until i experienced it myself (installing new skins), and my roomate installed skins on the same day and got the same problem, so to me it's safe to say it was related to those skins...

i frequent alot of CS related forums and i haven't heard much about this glitch or run into many people experiencing it...

i'm willing to bet if he deletes his playermodels folder, they will be redownloaded (default skins) upon his next connection to a server... those default models should not produce this glitch....
