Counter-Strike Problem

ive installed counterstrike along with steam 1.6 and when i go to play i get this error all the time done it for days

What about steam now? I think 1.6 is amazing compaired to 1.5, makes 1.5 look horrible.

and let me guess.....you use the n00bie shield I have no problems with the ABSOULTE latest ver (NOT any ver before it) of steam. But if it doesnt work for you, go with what MA said.

Hey anyone want to scrim us, we got a vent serv where we could make ur team a private channel while scrimming us. #findscrim is all "our server" now so theres not alot of people to play. we'll do 2vs2 3vs3 whatever u want. GG.

 

I resented Steam when it first came out too. I haven't been playing it much, even though it's installed... I still stick with my 1.5 while it's still up, but I think you guys are being a little to hard on 1.6. Give it some time... anyone that's played Half-Life for enough years knows that people bìtched and complained when the 1.5 update came out as well... just like now with 1.6.

Seriously... I really didn't like Steam, but it's grown on me, and it's not so bad. As for the new sheilds and guns... I thought that's why everyone loved Counter-Strike was because of it's realizm. (I don't like them either, but it's realistic.)
