    Now, what do i need to run Counter Strike?

    Yep :D Steam is actually quite good, reduces the hassle of installing the game quite a lot. When the network is up, that is :rolleyes:

    You'll need to enter your HLCD key and then just go to play CS and it will download the game for you. :)
