well since the new update my cs has been running alright but not that great as it was when it first came out

well my fps are fine with min at 60 and max in the 100s somewhere
well i need to get my choke down because it sky rockets to like 90 something
and i know if u type flush in the console it brings it down but not mine

also when im in game its fine not choppy at all but when im spectating someone its choppy

also iv tried all my game setting like turning things up and down and it still does it dosnt matter what setting so if u could help that would be awsome if anyone knows of any tweaks or anthing for my card thanks

 

not sure if this is a hardware issue or a settings issue... but tell us the rates you are using for the game.... the most common would be, rate, cl_updaterate, and cl_cmdrate.... having these set to the wrong values could drastically change your gameplay and also affect choke/loss issues...

to find out what you have these values set at, simply bring down console and type

rate (then enter)
cl_updaterate (then enter)
etc...

write down the value associated with each and report back here....

p.s., i'm jealous! i haven't had broadband for 4 months now and haven't been able to play CS since then, i need my fix!

rate = 2000 (def. 10000)
cl_updaterate = 20
