Counter-Strike Source not working

    just installed CS: Source today and when I try to open it, Vista says that "hl2.exe has stopped working". but, I've installed the exact program on other machines and its worked fine, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Vista Home Basic
    2GHz Single-Core processor
    NVidia GeForce 9800 GTX+
    1 GB RAM


    *NOTE* I posted this in the Games section too, but I figured it would fit better in the Software section

    Thanks a lot, dude. I think the game's crashing cuz I have too little RAM, which I need to fix anyways. That totally helped me a lot
