CounterSpy?????

I downloaded CounterSpy as I am trying to get malware removed from my computer and I am getting really annoying pop ups in the lower right hand corner of my screen. The same messages are popping up continuosly and It makes it impossible to even type a message. You have to be good just to get to the CounterSpy icon in the system tray to shut it down. Why is it doing this. It is a big green checkmark with the same two messages popping up continuosly.
