Cpu 100%

    Looked on task manager. It will show SYSTEM 100% CPUusage. Any ideas as to what causes this and how to stop it?

    Check the "processes" tab. In the third column, is there a process with high CPU usage?

    I posted the information from a friend. It had shown "SYSTEM" as being the high user. I think he may have a problem with Norton Anti Virus or Spy Sweeper. He said the usage came down to about 40% (from 99%) an was running better. Thanks for posting your reply.
