These heatsinks are Extremely heavy and large and of course when the case is upright the weight will pull on mobo mountings so make sure mobo is well secured. Also when in situ check to see if you have enough space for memory and graphics and side panel on case. I had one and didn't feel comfortable with the strain on the mobo mountings but thats just my opinion of course. ;)

Not that heavy at 688 gr. Pull out your tape measrure.;) Actually, there seems to be standards for mobos and heatsink fans. Take my board for example, I have a scant 1/2" between the fan and RAM. Manufacturers are very aware of size restrictions and don't want to get labeled as being too large. I would't worry, but if you still are then get a closed loop waterpump, like a Corsair H-60, double the price though. I've had one running 24/7 for over 3 years. Looks good in the case too.
