AMD fans work well, following the installations instructions, be sure to use a thermal compound such as AS5, and in the amount recommended (a beebee or pea sized amount) and you will be fine. From what I understand AMD stock cooling is actually rather effiecent, so i wouldnt worry to much about your core overheating, just follow instructions.

Good luck on you new pc!

(As a side note and warning, using AS5 voids the warrenty on your chip, but you can always clean it off if something happens and you have to RMA) :D

I'm sitting at 34c on my 4400+ with stock cooling.

Stock is fine, even for a little overclocking, usually.

Make use of Cool and Quiet.
