    I was thinking about setting up core parking on my AMD FX-8350.My cpu went from 4.0ghz at 8 cores.Now it's speed is currently at 4.2 just with parking 4 core.

    It seems to a lot more snappy with 4 cores.What are your thoughts.Would i benefit in games from doing this.

    4.2GHz is the maximum speed when the boost kicks in on that CPU.

    I have a simpler system than you Wile E, but when I tested core parking I didn't like the manufactured feel of the performance. It was kind of like turning off the paging executive for me...instant results for about 5 minutes and then constant nagging lag from menus in Windows, etc. If you're not multi-tasking like while playing a game I can see why it might be worthwhile, however. Maybe you could experiment with arranging so that it would occur only when an application is full screened as in a game. That seems like it would be interesting since you do spend time running games.

    You have no idea of my level of frustration.Trying to reinstall windows on desktop and laptop at the same time.I had to switch around drives.Taking a part the laptop and dealing with desktop.I ordered another SSD for extra stuff.It will be for like videos and music.

    I installed two KINGSTON SUV400s and i all so bought a Crucial BX500 240GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5-Inch Internal SSD

    They are on sale right now for less than 40 dollars.I paid for extra shipping so hope fully i would get it on Monday.

    I know what you mean. Some people have cats...I have computers, so I really know what you mean :). Computer hardware can be stressful to work with. Backup images are the sole reason I am alive today. I owe my life to the guys at Paragon.

    That's really a great deal on the drive. If I had some spare change I would go for that deal.

    Installing Windows->:eek::mad:
