   just built new rig with amd fx 60 do i need a 64 bit driver for this cpu.I just heard on the asus forums that u do but everything is working ok,if so are there any benifits.
   cpu amd fx 60
   mb asus an832sli

   Which OS you using?
   
   Both XP/2003 32bit Windows and XP/2003 x64bit OS CPU drivers for Dual Core.

   Do remember to get the correct driver, just because your using a 64bit CPU, its the OS that matters, so if using a normal XP 32bit version then make sure you get the AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor Driver for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 Version (exe) 1.2. driver.
