CPU Fan Help

I have a Dell Dimension 4600 computer. It is out of warranty. I keep getting the error Previous Fan Failure press F1 to contuine. I know i need a new CPU Fan. So i went to DIT Computers and got a 90mm. I got it home and the connector does not fit into the motherboard. I had to hook it up to some other power supply source. So what fan do i need to put into my dell. The fan i took out has a black skinny connector. Would this fan on ebay work?

Basically is it the rear "exhaust fan" you are referring to?

If so those fans you linked seem fine, there is a good close up view of the connector, if it looks the same go for it. I wouldn't pay anymore than that.
