    Hi,
I have a strange problem with my CPU fan.
This morning, I fired up my computer, and the CPU fan started to work fine, but then it stops, and after a couple of seconds, it started again and it loops between on and off.
And it makes really wired noises.

    Please, watch the video:

After I shutdown the computer for a night, and turned it back on the morning after, everything worked fine, even the CPU fan.

I don't know what caused the problem, and what to do if it'll come back again.

Here is some info about my computer:

The noise is either worn bearings, or fan blades scraping due to worn bearings allowing the fan to move out of proper alignment - assuming the fan is properly mounted. Why it is stopping and starting, I don't know - some fans do slow down if the CPU temp drops well into the safety zone - depending on how the motherboard and chipset monitor temps and control the fan. But yours does not seem normal.

What your video and comments did not tell us is what was happening to the computer during this. Did it boot? Was it running okay?

I would (1) make sure your power supply is still good by swapping in another known good one. This process will also force you to ensure all power connections are good. And (2) if it keeps making that noise, even when it appears to spin up properly, I would replace the fan or entire HSF assembly. You don't want the fan to seize while the CPU is being pushed.

Note Intel warranties their OEM fans that come packaged with a CPU for 3 years so if still within warranty, I would contact Intel for a replacement.
