    1. Is it normal to have the CPU socket different than what is shown in manufactured site? I am asking because my 2 motherboards "ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3" CPU socket is different to what is shown for this same mobo on manufacture website:

Compare that to asrock and you will see it does not look the same [already checked other sites also where they are selling this mobo]:

So, is that suppose to be considered normal?

Try attaching the pic again but a socket 1155 is a socket 1155 unless it's not. I can't tell yet.;)

EDIT: Took a while for the pics to show. Strange, doesn't look the same to me either. Mine looks like pic#2 though it's an ASUS the sockets are always the same.

    1. What does it mean than?

    2. Also asking because both of these mobo are getting number 53 on Dr. Debug. According to my manual it means " Memory initialization error. No usable memory detected". So I have tried everything and am suspecting I got bad mobos.

I edited my last post, should be OK.

EDIT: I don't know Dr. Debug, sorry. I'd send it back.

This is my actually 2nd mobo as i had to return the first one cuz it did not turn on after a few days [short circuited or something.]. So what I will do is contact asrock and see what they have to say.

Can you try try one memory stick at a time since you're getting the same error? Can you test your memory in someone else's machine?
