Cpu temperature is to High

Hi my cpu temperature gets so high now before it wasnt that high
and ive seen thers alot of dust in the cpu fan and heatsink

would getting rid of the dust improve the cpu temperature?
and performance?

 

Most Likely!!!!!!! All that dust is harboring the heat inside the component that it is caked on, plus...when you get enough dust buildup in a fan...it binds it down and it won't put out the air like a clean one would!!

Agreed with above, pop down your local computer shop and grab yourself a can of compressed air and blow all that dust out of there

Btw is the heatsink/fan retail or aftermarket?

Dont forget its also becoming summer,everything runs warmer,alot of people have started worrying about thier temps thinking something is wrong,but its just the weather and those p4 run hot anyway,check out the cooling and modding section,BTW how hot is your cpu getting under load?

 

it gets to 52 C when i do sumthing on the pc
