CPU temperature ...

Hi .. I would like to know if this is normal .. I am at work and im trying to configure this second hand computer... when I ran pc wizard on it, I had this really high temperature result for the cpu: 108 celcius . I was like wo! this thing is frying but then im not so sure what would be a normal temp. for a cpu.
I tried running pc wizard on another top quality computer and the results came back more decent (30 celcius).

so my guess is .. I need to buy a new fan for that cpu asap!!

btw never mind my specs at the bottom ... they are for my home computer

 

108C is way to frickin hot for a cpu

 

ya if my comp gets abve 90 farenheit i get mad it usually stays at 85 but i have very good cooling system

108 Celsius is impossible. The chip would be dead. 108 C is like 240 degrees Fahrenheit. My guess is that if your computer is still running, PC Wizard is reporting the temps inaccurately. Check your BIOS. I'm sure the temps are actually much lower.

 

Ill probably check it out when I get back to work on monday (the bios temp)
otherwise this makes no sense... but overall the pc seems to be working fine.
